Dr Keith Steele is Managing Director of Steele Business Solutions Pty Ltd located in Minyama, Queensland; Chair of eWater Innovation Pty Ltd; Deputy Chair of Beef CRC Limited; a Director of eWater Limited; Director of Environmental Biotechnology CRC Pty Ltd; and a Council Member of the University of the Sunshine Coast. He is a Business Advisor for the AusIndustry COMET program currently advising 15 companies that are commercialising new technologies. He is a past CEO of AgResearch Ltd and Chief Scientist and Executive Director of Primary Industries for the Victorian Department of Natural Resources and Environment. Keith has had a long involvement in the discovery, development and commercialisation of new technologies and products in Life Sciences, AgBiotech and Agribusiness, being involved in the establishment of more than 30 new companies and a past or present Director of 15 companies and four Co-operative Research Centres.

Educated in New Zealand at the University of Waikato (DPhil Chemistry 1978), and Massey University (MAgrSc. (Hons1) 1973).
